Five Champion Engine Builders will come during King Racing Forum at PRI Show

November 26, 2013

King Engine Bearings is sponsoring a unique technical forum at the 2013 Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show that features a rare gathering of five leading championship race engine builders. This free event will take place on Friday, December 13 at 3 p.m. in Rooms 205, 206 and 207 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Ind.

Under the banner of the company’s new King Racing line of engine bearings, the all-star line of panelists is headlined by Sprint Car engine builder Ron Shaver of Ron Shaver Specialty Engines. It will also feature monster truck engine builder Richard Midgette of Feld Entertainment, super stock engine builder Mike Hedgecock of Eagle Racing Engines, Top Dragster/Top Sportsman engine builder, Mike Teasar of Teasar Engineering, and sport compact engine builder Dan Farley of Vermont Sportscar.

“This seminar is completely different than anything we’ve done before,” said Ron Sledge, King’s performance and technical manager. “We’re providing PRI attendees with the chance to get their questions answered from five of the top engine builders in our industry. These builders work on everything from four cylinder engines to small-and large-block V8 engines and will discuss topics such as building for power and durability, hot new trends, parts preparation, machining, oil clearance and oil viscosity.”

King will introduce its technologically advanced line of race bearings at the 2013 PRI Show. Incorporating unique geometric features and an innovative metal structure, the new King XP Racing line of engine bearings is a breakthrough not seen before in the racing industry. Attendees who stop by the King PRI booth #4001 will have the chance to perform the pMax Black™ overlay scratch test with the opportunity to win prizes instantly, including an iPad Mini.
